Showcase 2
This series of paintings represents creative energies I very much enjoy. Ninety per cent of each piece is painted in roughly 10% of the time it takes to complete the painting in its entirety, and the remaining 10% of the piece probably takes roughly 90% of the time! Both parts of the process engage and captivate me.
What to know about the process: each element in its own time. The scribbles at 90 miles per hour, the asemic writing at 60 mph, the collage at 25 mph : )

Roseanne, thanks so much for your feedback—I frequently second guess myself regarding posting this much detail, i.e. showcasing the individual and very similar paintings from this current grid, so I’m very appreciative of your welcoming the closeup posts that push/invite me to share more about process. I know I want the record for myself, and a strong component of the energy behind this particular series is to lean into my own artistic preferences; I’m pleased to know that my followers also enjoy this closer look behind the scenes : )
