Afternoon Art Journal Antics

Made a mess of a painting over the weekend, and then made it worse today. Feel pressed for time. Have a naggy list of tasks that need attention. Feel irritable. Have some kind of high-pitched tinnitus going on.

Perfect!

Funny how just the right conditions align when you least expect them. Brought action to an intention I’ve been running away from for quite awhile.

  1. I enjoy your silver lining – right conditions bringing action to intention, even if those conditions are irritating or annoying! Fabulously fun blind contour sketch!

  2. Love the contour sketch!!! Interesting conditions to get there!

Blind…or semi-blind sketching is so much fun! I need to do it more.

    1. MaryAnn, thanks for your enthusiasm—blind and semi-blind contour drawing have enduring appeal to me. Like you, I need (would like) to do more. Not sure why I don’t! At the moment, I’m fully ensconced in the space between having been away for much of last week and finding my way back into life at home. No idea where my muses might lead me next.

      1. Ahhhhh that familiar “space between.” I know it well.
