Collage Botanica Diary, 10

Hands down, no contest, Dave is the unequivocal master gardener here on our little patch of land. He’s the one outdoors planting, arranging, pruning, watering, transplanting, dividing, staking, mulching, deadheading, adding compost, and loving his gardens to life for the entirety of growing season.

However, here in my indoor collage botanica space—my studio greenhouse so to speak, I am also having a grand time, in my case growing greens and flowers from paper and paint, nurturing them tenderly and attentively, trimming as needed, and managing their development with an eye to how they interact with each other. Day by day I am totally present to the engaging process of loving them to life.

    1. Lola! yes! a lotta love pouring into these blooms and leaves and stems and petals and pistils and stamens. I am LOVING being a collage gardener/florist. Seems to be both grounding me (literally and figuratively) and lifting me upward into light : )
