Wrapping Up 2024

As has been the case for the past 2-3 years, I was inspired again this year to pull a 12 x 12″ sheet of Dixie All Purpose Food Wrap from my seemingly endless stash so I could create hand-painted wrapping paper to provide visual pizzazz to two money gifts.

Satisfying last-minute venture partway through Christmas Day!

wrapped and ready to roll

And … this post metaphorically wraps up 2024! Onwards and sideways, here we go into a new year!

  1. What a perfect way to wrap up the year, and wrap your gifts giving them just the right pizzazz. The painted paper, by the way, is fabulous! And the red dots are the perfect punctuation!

I loved punctuating the greens with those pops of red : )

    1. Happy new year to you, too, Lola … don’t you just love that when you wake up, every single day is the first of a new year beginning right then? May they all hold laughter and joy!

Thanks for loving the wrap—it’s SO much fun to paint!

  3. There is a saying about how you end the year, is how you will live the next to come. Something like that. Safe to say, you will be creating joyfully, and GORGEOUSLY, all year long! xoxo Happy New Year!

    1. And, since every day is the last of the year of 364 days that preceded it, it behooves us to live each one well! Let’s do it!!!

  4. What a splendid idea. For me, each day is the beginning and the end in itself. Today the sun is shining!

    1. Yes! Each day as the beginning and the end in itself : ) Today it is cold with a very strong wind factor, and I will be going to see an art exhibit in Andover, MA!
