Which Comes First, Chicken or Egg?

Well, really, my question is this: which comes first on trees, blossoms or leaves?

Depends on the tree. They don't all follow the same sequence.

My bare branches blossomed first and then began leafing out.

Sheila, glad you're feeling the joy! The collage comes from a condolence card I received a year ago when my dad died, and it is so evocative of this time of year here where I live : )

SOO beautiful! Makes me think about Japanese spring cherry blossoms or something like that.

Yes!—there's a Japanese cherry blossom feel to this piece. I enjoyed being in synch with the universe, co-creating the joyous bright uplifting blossoming of spring!

Such a happy painting! Beautiful collage work. It is fascinating the stages of trees, something we seem to take for granted, without really looking and seeing!

Carol, thanks for the nod to the collage work—I felt as though I were co-creating with God, bringing the blossoming and leafing out of the bare branches of a tree : )
