I am writing this post the day after Thanksgiving. It probably won't see the light of day at my blog until late next week.
I am grateful that I choose to paint, grateful for the moments of wordless expression, for the physicality of brush strokes, for the centering.

a winter wood or meadow...calling me to walk gently through it.
Let's do it. A gentle walk through a winter wood or meadow with you? 'Twould be perfecto!
It's indeed miraculous how painting can help us center in scattered times!
I REALLY need something to center me today!
Fall, nature, silence, peace. Ahhhh. Restoration.
Love the earthy colors.. it immediately made me think of Thanksgiving!
Maybe the association to wheat shafts. Love your "wordless expression"!
If I can't find it (fall/nature/silence/peace/ahhhh in my day-to-day living, I paint it! I used to have trouble finding restoration at this time of year. Now, I am turning my attention to now.
The earthy colors were calling to me. If they're wheat, I'll have to steer clear, having received a celiac diagnosis earlier this year!
I love words and language. AND I am endlessly thankful for wordless expression.
I'm IN!
Gorgeous marks - love the art you have been posting!
Janet, thanks for your thumbs-up! Always happy when my art touches someone.
