Dissipation

Yesterday's stories are yesterday's stories—breaking up into little pieces, spreading thin, scattering, blowing away in the least bit of breeze like so much dandelion fluff.

dandelion fluff...the perfect next layer to this piece!

Thanks, Jen! When I started this piece, the journaling was truly journaling, and I figured why not do it on my substrate. But it's become an integral part of the visual journey of this piece, somewhat to my surprise. Fun!

I love your journey out of the head full of stories, into the Life. Your two paintings look like magic to me!

Simone, love that you can appreciate the head-to-life-via-art magic. Already this painting has been a fascinating journey for me, and I'm only at early layers with it.

How did you do that? It looks like a spotlight is shining on this. Got lost in it, moving back and forth between the images. I realllly like where it is now. Ha ha ha. But there is always tomorrow ;)

The spotlight probably IS light. I have primitive camera and lighting capabilities here. Sometimes that works to my advantage!

I have, of course, moved on from this stage of my painting. The good news is that these early stages could easily be recreated, something that is not often the case.
