On My Nightstand, on My Easel (9)

On my nightstand

Be willing to stand
at the base of a new mountain
and, with humility and grace,
bow to it.
Allow yourself to understand
that it's bigger than you,
or anything you can possibly imagine.
You're not sure of the path.
You're not even sure where
the next step will take you.
When you begin,
whisper to yourself:
I don't know.

What a beautiful message to start the day with! Detail so celestial!

1. I actually set this post up over a week ago, and the message contained in it is JUST what I need to see and breathe in again this morning myself. Glad it spoke to you, too, Carol.

2. Today's photo is of the whole canvas, for a change!

Why does this remind me of the Sistine Chapel? Also makes me think of a wonderful map on the wall. A delightful path the the secret garden, maybe? :)
I don't know. Love that :)

Smiling yet again at the Sistine Chapel. And possibly a map or a delightful path to the secret garden. Such a gift to see through your eyes, Sheila : )
