On My Nightstand, on My Easel (3)

On my nightstand

We spend hours in our backyard playhouse.
We play house,
we play store,
we play movie stars.
We play and play,
humming with summer.

oooh. and oh. Love this color palette. The grounded bottom. Those darks. That playtime going on up the right side.

I'm wondering if this is a detail - I guess it is!

Yes, a detail—the word detail should appear in the caption underneath the image. Does that caption show on your screen?

OOOUUU! Love that sky/not sky. The flowing layered colors, tha patterned cloud. The drip, drip, drip. The promising black and white coloring book marks below. I want to grab a crayon and play! Have fun friend! :)

Sheila! Thank you for feeding me all this visual language talk—so uplifting and illuminating as I find my way along with this WIP. Truly a gift :)

Thanks, Carol, for enjoying the tease of small details! I never tire of found compositions within a larger piece.

In the lines I excerpted, I especially loved the line "humming with summer."
