Pounding a Gavel

Seems to me my attention and my intentions are skittering all over the place of late. Time to pound a gavel and impose a smidgen of order, such as it is. To that end, I return to the series of small collages I've been creating, collages whose beginnings took place back in March with friend Bo.

I REALLY like your new style of making collages. Absolutely fresh and humorous!

Thank you! Your affirmation of this collage exploration infuses me with energy, and I am grateful!

Am also grateful for your making the effort to comment, given the stumbling blocks my blog currently puts in your way.

I'd be further grateful to have you include your name when you comment since the anonymous feature—which does allow followers to comment—does not allow me to know to whom it is I am replying—waaaa! : (

It's always a good thing to return to something with new eyes!

Indeed! And a happy reminder of 'everything in good time.'

Always amazed at the amount of material you fit into such small real estate! When I open the image in a new window and place it beside the blog post side by side on the monitor screen it shows up 10x10". Love the spark the fuchsia gives!

The tiny size of the real estate is a little crazy, isn't it?! Thanks for your nod to the 'spark' of fuschia—it was fun in this piece to pair each of the two pieces of fuschia magazine collage with a strip of hand-scribbled collage paper.
