As I painted: the dance of light on Gouldsboro Bay sending sparks up to my perch on an upstairs deck outside the bedroom, the tiniest whisper of water kissing rocky shore, the smell of gurry, steady cool air brushing my skin.

Literally and figuratively! Rare 5-planet alignment peaks today and is joined by the moon! My subconscious mind must have expressed that inner knowing on paper here : )

Carol, thanks for your nod to taking starts as a base for playing with pen and neuorgraphic linework. Plenty to learn en route. The limitations open many possibilities and the exploration lets me bring all sorts of prior learning into the 'container' I've given myself within which to worl.
