Teacher Recognition

Such patient teachers my paintings are.

I flop all over the place doing mental gymnastics, stumbling my way through the ongoing learning process, but my paintings are ever patient—

    unconditional,

    receptive,

    open to my every move,

    unattached to outcome,

in attunement with the vibrational frequency of whatever emerges,

in for a penny in for a pound,

    unwaveringly imperturbable, and

    invitingly tranquil.

I am tremendously grateful.

Finally circled back to a start from four weeks ago (when I stated that I'd return to it the following day!):

The grass, the shadows, the depth, the marks. Turquoise, blue, greens, lavender, yellow. Marveling at every simple thing. So lovely Dotty. Bravo :)

Sheila, thank you for your feedback, which affirmed my feeling altogether alive! Really appreciate your notice of grass, shadows, depth, marks. This piece offered many unexpected challenges and learnings.

This could easily become a series! Love all implied lines like the one the three little flowers make. You are going a bit larger, letter size! Hope this doesn;t end up with the cutter!

Carol, grateful for your feedback—I didn't even see the line made by the waterlilies! At one point in the process of this painting, I considered my paper cutter b/c I couldn't yet see a rescue for a mess I'd made, but I persevered and found a rescue that didn't involve a guillotine!
