Oh, fun that you noticed my asemic writing, Carol. Glad you like those characters! I was JUST yesterday telling someone about a little cruise I took through the Greek Islands with my family when I was in high school (with a home base of London that year).
I wondered what that little writing was! But those tiny LEAVES! OMG the cutest thing ever. You ARE a maker, and this little postcard packs a mighty wallop!
The leaves doodled themselves in a year ago and I just keep working with them as they now show up in some of my postcards. Thanks for your nod to both eeny weeny and wallop here, Jen—I think that's exactly what is grabbing me right now, i.e. the wonder of working on such a tiny scale and experiencing immensity as I MAKE.
How can I not, grab my bike and head out on the black top. Check out this neighborhood and that. So fun dotty. the colors and shapes and teenie's. So happy to see you today :)
Sheila! I see you've chalked a long hopscotch board the length of one whole street already. I'll grab my bike, and maybe a jump rope, and be out and about with you in a sec!

"Eeny, Weeny and Wallop". Now THAT is a book I want to see you illustrate.
LOL! I'd better get my rear in gear!
