In this new year, may my heart be open enough to stay curious, strong enough to face pain, and brave enough to feel joy (thanks, Brené Brown, for words that identify my compass points). May I let go so as to let in.
Hello, chaos and exploration and experimentation and inquiry! Let 'er rip!

"My I let go so as to let in" - I needed to hear that! And to see you let it rip in this wintery wonderland - so free and joy-filled!
"May I let go so as to let in" —— I needed to hear you repeat that back to me!
I took so much delight in using negative space to grow these trees out of the free and joy-filled chaos layers I splashed onto my canvas. I take equal delight in your seeing the free and joy-filled!
I love this one, Dotty. Your new year is off to a great start!
Thanks, Joje! I like to contain snow on canvas : )
That’s the best place for it!
Let 'er rip! Hahaha! Bravo! :) Gotta love pinkish, reddish, colorful skies! :)
I may end up ripping some of my explorations into pieces but, yes, let 'er rip! Thanks for cheering me on!
Truly a winter wonderland! Close my eyes and feel the snowflakes brush my skin! May your new year let in all you wish for and more. May we all let "go" and let "in"!
Thank you for the soft snowflakes of your comments brushing the start to my day, Carol. Your words move me to take a full deep breath, to let go of the tension already making itself known in my body and to let in the joy of this here, this now.
I love this beautiful painting! Thanks for your good wishes!
thanks, Simone! Good morning/afternoon!
