I spent yesterday painting base chaos layers to get energy flowing and activate sheets of drawing paper—starts for twelve separate paintings, ten of which are featured here.
Listening to a lecture on color relationship learned an interesting comment. Don't narrow your color palette to quickly. You can always quiet chaos, but it's hard to get that energy back! Are these separate paintings or progressive layers? They all have a special energy!
Thanks for being an enthusiastic viewer, Sheila! These chaos layers are slated to get their next round of attention and story development tomorrow, God willing, though I couldn't tell ya what that means in terms of posting. A few days most likely.

Carol, thanks for sharing the tip re not narrowing color palette too quickly.
Twelve separate paintings. Thx for asking; you prompted me to update this post with clarification.
What a wonderful collection of starts! It feels like there's a lot of positive energy in these paintings!
Thanks for the clarification! Now have a fav! Number 5 from the top, orange and grey! Has a lot of tension! I only count 10!
Fun to know what your fave is, and thank you for being more awake than I am —— I've revised my text to clarify yet again!!!
Twelve starts! I am so so so so so so so so so excited to see what happens next!
I'm excited too. Stay tuned! Grateful to have your excitement infusing me and my studio (which is currently a holy mess).
OOU! OH! Ahh! WOW! Whoa!
I see stories already! Happy chaotic creating to you Dotty! :)
