He called
when he found a house for us.
A nice ordinary house,
he promised.
'You won’t find a single adjective
to apply to it.
It’s the kind of house
that destroys adjectives.'

Love your little magical town! The smoke resembles "Arabic Script"
Arabic script! Way cool. It's actually an acrylic skin scribble which, I see now, has become asemic writing. Thanks for this perception, Carol!
A house that destroys adjectives! WHOA! Love this little row of smokin' houses. The wonky angles make me smile. :)
The wonky angles were what let me move forward with this piece. And the bit about a house that destroys adjectives makes me laugh each time I read it!
What Carol said! :) I love that there is a "secret" message to be discovered. :)
Fun, Sheila—I'm getting a kick out of the 'smoke signaling' message embedded in this card all over again, especially since it is truly unintentional happenstance : )
