Latex paint!Resting! I see movement, freedom, the moment. Nothing resting here! The neutrals doing their work!
Carol, thanks for the movement-freedom-moment neutrals-doing-their-work feedback. Your words capture how I felt as I painted this piece. Felt like I hit my stride with this one.
Nice to see the neutrals whirling and moving!
Thanks, Simone! I agree. This postcard felt the truest to my inner energy thus far … or, maybe others were equally aligned with inner energy but I like this whirling moving energy better than some of the earlier postcard energies!
oooooooh this postcard start is ACTIVE! So much swirling and dancing! I smile when reading your neutral thinking thoughts.
Jen, my neutral thinking seems pretty quiet and still compared to the swirling dancing activity of the neutral painting, don'tcha think??! Fun to hear that you smile when reading the neutral thoughts : )
Haha :) I am reading this late, but it is perfect timing. My day has done the very same thing. Started out great, and then one phone call changed the mood. Haha. LOVE this start. so lovely. And I think... I think I see a bird starting to form. A baby bird. A sort of ugly baby bird. You know, one of those so ugly it is cute faces. LOL. Well, time will tell. :)
Sheila, yup, days just keep on changing direction one way or another, and we are clearly not the CEO of a single one of the days! I love this start, too — happy to know it appeals to your (baby-bird-finding) eye as well!
