Thanks, Joje! I started it nearly three weeks ago as you may or may not recall, and have now completed it. Thank you for your comment—glad you were able to post it given that cyber silliness sometimes doesn't let you; I have to open my blog in Chrome to be able to reply to you because I am no longer able to do so in Safari which had worked just fine for years, but then not : (
Sheila, love that you can feel both the jubilance and quiet. The mounting/matting/framing was fun (even with significant mistakes en route)—I mounted the 5x7 art on white card stock, then that combo on a larger piece of card stock on which I'd painted a dark hooker's green deep hue border, then that combo onto a piece of mat board to give it lift when I mounted all of the above on a piece of 9x12 card stock painted and collaged to complement the piece. Then, finally, the whole shebang went into a frame with mat!
Beautiful! And thank you for sending us into the New year with this beautiful tree! May 2019 be filled with the best of everything - especially studio time! oxo
Janet, happy new year! What a gift to see you at my blog today! As I think you know, I've been hibernating. My hibernation isn't turning out to be a deep restorative sleep but instead a jumbled experience of disorientation and bumping into questions and confusions. Thank you for your wishes for 2019. I wish you the same: a year filled with the best of everything and including rich studio time : )
Jen, thank you for your transcontinental virtual hug! You've generated joyous infectious creative energy in 2018 for which I am most grateful. Off we head into 2019! I love reading your Portland posts : )
