Transposition

About a year ago I posted a rhythmic chant from camp days that periodically comes to mind:

Left foot, left foot,
Left foot, left foot,
Left foot, left foot,
        Right right foot!

As was the case a year ago, the words today transpose themselves, this time to the following:

          Post post card!

I'm feeling feelings today, yielding to many transpositions swirling around me.

Responding to intuition, to what I see in front of me, to what pops into mind.

lions, and tigers, … !

Love your read on the energy in this piece, Sheila. Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback re word placement and scribble, Carol—you hit on what calls to me in this piece: the absolute spontaneity of the scribbles and brushstrokes, with the counterpoint of the thoughtful specificity that went into the execution of the transfer letters; I loved all aspects of the making.

This is a particular beautiful one in black and white!

Thanks, Simone. Like your using music paper as collage today was a change, this was a refreshing change-up for me.

holy cow! This is one emotional piece! Love the text. That dark space on the bottom left - such an anchor. A safe place to watch from.

It's a wild one, yes?! Glad you caught emotion in it as well as the anchor, and enjoyed the text, Jen. Thanks especially for the 'safe place to watch from' feedback.
