Laurelle, thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting. This was a painting done as an assignment for a class, but I have no idea where it really came from—love paintings of this sort that carry a sense for me of my having tapped into creative mystery.
I don't know why, but this painting immediately screamed out Dr. Seuss to me, like it should be an illustration in one of his books. It looks like a cone, says Joan.

OOOuuuu! Cool!!
Thanks, Sheila. This one pleases my eye every time I look at it.
I don't know what it is exactly, the colors, the shapes, but the entire painting draws you in and it's a physical pleasant feeling. Love it!

Thid is definetly a strong piece! Somehow reminds me of cacti!

Thanks, Carol. I can see the cacti!
You're right on the spot,
Says pop painter Dot.
I've sent you a cone,
With speed—on a drone!
I knew you'd reply
In verse that is wry!
Touché!
Good day!
It is a hat
That is not flat.
It is a pun
So have some fun! :o)
It is not a cone
It is not a hat
It is two zebras
Whatcha think of THAT!
Laughing so much I am
I think it is time for some
green eggs and ham!
Adios, amiga
This verse—too bigga!
Hee, hee, hee - that was funny!!!
