Playing with softnesses, scribbles, cursive manuscript handwriting, veiling, metallic markers, a fine-line applicator, and a make-up brush.
Figuring out what I can and cannot do as I go along.
Looking after I leap.

So soft and beautiful. You CAN do a lot!
MaryAnn, thank you for celebrating the soft and beautiful here, the can-do! I'm grateful when art seems to flow from me of its own accord, grateful for the experimenting and bumbling and forging ahead that brings me to flow.
I love this Dotty. It would make a wonderful sympathy card. :)
Sheila, you've tuned into the vibration of this piece exquisitely. It may actually be sent as such. ❤️

Love the combination of asemic writing and scribbles. Definitely calming but with a strong feel as well, the diagonal!
Carol, thanks for your observation of calm + strong in this piece. I'm having (mostly) fun with my inquiry, learning learning learning as I explore scribbling
I've always been fascinated by 'handwriting' (automatic writing, Arabic writing (which I can't read but is beautiful). Lovely to find it back in your art.
Handwriting fascinates me also, and I am also glad to include it in my art again. I recently noticed various forms of writing in the paintings of others and I instantly felt the magnetic pull!
So beautiful!
This piece evolved as a sweet surprise to me, and I'm delighted to have it catch your eye also, MaryAnn!
