Every now and then, feeling along the wall,
one of us comes to a corner and discovers
another wall, feels along that wall,
comes to a door, opens it, and is confronted
by a much larger, brighter space
where he finds that he can see. The rest of us
see the light on him. When he steps outside,
we wonder where he has gone.
Now by the light shining through
the empty doorway we find our way as well.
Others have gone through the door for us.
Each of us goes through the door for others.

Don't you just love that: Each of us goes through the door for others??
This postcard is one of my faves from the series. The movement: yes! Thanks, Carol.
ooooh I got goosebumps reading the excerpt....wow. And the whole world DID wake up a little when that "after" piece was done! WOWZERS!
just reread the passage and got goosebumps myself!
happy to hear the whole world DID wake up a little when i finished that 'after' piece, jen!!! thanks.
LOVE! Love that passage, and this card is wonderful Dotty. I love how the pieces wrap around each other. The wispy white movementand softness there... LOVE! :)
Sheila, this piece gave me great satisfaction in the making. The process was very engaging, using the start of two years ago to spark what came next and next and next. Gives me further great satisfaction to hear what you see and experience in response to the finished postcard.
