What a beautiful studio! I could just sit and sit and soak in all I was able to absorb! Can feel myself in the cool water of the lake? making those swirl like motions.
Hi Carol, glad I thought to include a photo of my 'studio'—it's on Crockett Cove, one of countless such coves/inlets/estuaries that reach into the Maine coastline off Penobscot Bay. The cove is in constant flux, changing as it does with tidal ebb and flow.
What a fantastic place to work from! It's always fun to see somebody's painting environment. Makes you realize painting does not take place in a void, but in a 'living' environment, by living people.
Simone—indeed, a fantastic place to park my feet while I paint! I smiled when you posted a glimpse of your painting journal today, also within the context of your living environment.
Hey Jen, happy to have given you a tiny vacation to this cove off an island in Maine. Not sure I'll get to painting today before forecasted rain arrives …
Oh, love your peaceful view :) The grey has a terrific depth to it. Made me feel as if I was floating. The colors wake me up and make me think of Popsicles and watermelon on a hot summer day :)

What a view! You've just given my eyes a much needed vacation. Living vicariously....

The view from our cottage has yet to disappoint : )
Thanks for your feedback on my painting adventures—the gray depth, the floating, the wake-up colors, the popsicles and watermelon on a hot summer day.
