Carol, I'm chuckling at your mention of suspence because yesterday I jumped ship on a book after 70 pages and returned it to the library specifically because I wanted no part of the contrived suspense!

These detail shots were not actually meant to be teases. Rather, I wanted to come to the surface briefly to see how it felt to post a few times and, since my phone (and only) camera leaves dark 'clouds' and a couple of odd little rust-colored 'threads' in every photo, I could only get decent photos by cropping. Those cropped photos are what I've been posting.

It's beautiful to remember this, however messy life gets!
I want to be able to know it as surely as I know to breathe vs. remember it for a moment—in my mind—and then 'lose' it again!
