The Inner Life of Hibernation, 3

In Present Over Perfect, Niequist adds:

[God's] love is secure
no matter what,
no matter what,
no matter what.
No matter what I do
or don't do.

You are really keeping us in suspense! Dotty is really playing!

Carol, I'm chuckling at your mention of suspence because yesterday I jumped ship on a book after 70 pages and returned it to the library specifically because I wanted no part of the contrived suspense!

The blue sea...mysterious! And Thank God that we're loved, Dotty!

The blue sea—I am so grateful to live minutes from ocean.

Yes, thank God the love is there even when I don't feel it.

no matter what...you are loved. Even if you torture me with snippets and sneak peeks for days on end....:)

1. I still can't quite get used to your being in the Pacific Time Zone.

2. Hahaha! Love how you rearranged the pieces of my post, Jen, to create a brilliant smiling retort! touché!

Ooouuu! Love the banner. Love your new tease. Makes my brain guess. Love the timely reminder. Love that you are having fun. Love your posts in my mailbox. Love 'ya Dotty :)

Sheila, love that you notice my banners as I change them! Grateful that you take pleasure in the various so-called teases, the brainwork!, the 'lovely reminder,' and more.

These detail shots were not actually meant to be teases. Rather, I wanted to come to the surface briefly to see how it felt to post a few times and, since my phone (and only) camera leaves dark 'clouds' and a couple of odd little rust-colored 'threads' in every photo, I could only get decent photos by cropping. Those cropped photos are what I've been posting.

It's beautiful to remember this, however messy life gets!

I want to be able to know it as surely as I know to breathe vs. remember it for a moment—in my mind—and then 'lose' it again!
