Speaking about God's love, Shauna Niequist continues in Present Over Perfect:

And also that there's nothing
I can do in this new day
to ruin or break that love—
nothing.

It’s so great to “see” you again, Dotty! The words from Shauna Niequist really moved me, and your art work continues to amaze me.

OH FOR PETE'S SAKE: I replied to your comment yesterday and, please appreciate the irony, given YOUR challenge in being able to fight your way thru cybernonsense to be able to comment, when I 'published' my reply, it disappeared. Which means I must have unwittingly opened Safari instead of Chrome.

Thank you for your gladness in seeing me here at my blog again, and thank you for your affirming words about my artwork. I'm glad Niequist's words touched you, as they did me.

They've lifted ME up, Sheila! Glad they sing to you also : )

Those little bits of your painting make me curious!

Perhaps I'll post a photo of the whole piece, though most likely I will paint over all of it and start again! I'm glad to have you curious!

unconditional love....thank you for the gift of these snippets of prose and art. I am with Simone - so curious to see the whole painting!

oh gosh, look at the trouble I'm getting myself into! Eventually, this canvas will most likely become a 'finished' 'whole painting'—but perhaps not with any of the current snippets still visible.

Each snippet is part of the whole weather it will be visable in the end, it has it's place. I will just have to wait and play along!

Carol, your comment is welcome affirmation to me both in terms of my current painting adventure and in terms of the larger canvas of my life—each snippet is par of the whole; whether it is visible in the end or not, it has its place. I just have to play along.
