Really fun.
You remember I painted a bookmark as a birthday gift for a friend earlier in May, yes? Here it is, with the book she happened to be reading at the time of her birthday.
TOTALLY love the serendipity and synchronicity!

A few minutes till I am off to class. WOW!! What a gift and how wonderful it seems to fall on the perfect match. Wonderful and creepy in a good way!
Hi Carol, thanks for your comments.
1. Eager to hear what 'we' learn in class today. Always love hearing about your weekly workshop.
2. Isn't this an amazing color and spirit match between book cover and bookmark? All the more astonishingly fun because it wasn't done by design!
The perfect gift for a book lover!!! Now, if only you would knit matching socks...ha ha! Truly, since I am one of those people who absolutely prefer a real book to a Kindle, a bookmark is a marvelous thing. Especially when it is not a random scrap of paper that happened to by laying around. And ESPECIALLY when the bookmark is a piece of art!!!
I, too, subscribe to the notion that a book in the hand is worth two on kindle. And a book in the hand with a bookmark that is a (MATCHING!) piece of art is such outright priceless. Thanks for sharing my enthusiasm, Jen!
That is indeed quite incredible. Synchronicity with a capital S!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how complementary the book jacket art and bookmark art were!
The universe and all its wonders :)
Right?! This matchup was so remarkable and so much fun!
