Tipping Point and Tipping Myself Over

Found myself magnetized by an abstract Don Gray painting recently and by his mention of that exact tipping point when paint ceases to be just paint.

Had to play.

Starting point: used palette knives to apply paint; focused on shapes.

Midpoint: picked up a large brush, and only a large brush, to muck about with the paint deposited by the palette knives.

Endpoint: how did I tip over into this new world! Love it!
