Neutrals (3)

Neutral-thinking exploration

• This afternoon I will burn a bag of outdated paperwork culled from a file cabinet upstairs.
• I discovered in a stack of stored folders a pad of lined paper with a company logo at the top of each page and have been unable to decide where to give it a home for future use.
• I don't have criteria yet for facilitating my decluttering of the green closet.

I like it, Dotty! Love the 'patch-ness'!

Love the stripe patterns and interesting mutes colors! Some collaged and some painted. Somehow waiting for a poem to appear!

Thanks, Simone! The 'patchness' was what I wanted to play with here, using irregular, uneven, faded, 'worn-out' patches.

The stripe patterns really 'made' this start come to life for me. The muted neutrals present interesting challenges. Thanks for noticing that I used both collage and painted shapes, Carol, and thanks for the delightful invite to pair this painted patch poem with a written word poem : )

You are motivating me to tackle some much needed decluttering of my own. :) And this postcard start - I love the "letting in" of the orange bits and the surprise appearance of the green. Yum.

I am astonished and grateful to have found a little spark of decluttering energy in myself after having not one.little.ember for way too long.

Thanks for the feedback here, Jen, re my postcard start. Love that talk : )

Sheila, appreciating your desert perspective here. Wouldn't have seen that without you.
