How I love bookmarks! Their 'long' shapes give so much room for experimentation with design and composition. I love both of them, their lines, their colors, textures and playful atmospheres!
You and I see eye to eye on art bookmarks, Simone! There are so many gifts to finding and releasing a bookmark composition from a larger piece of work. Thanks for your feedback on line, color, texture, and playful atmosphere (especially fun to hear that last one). I gave myself a bookmark from the same larger piece as the two depicted here, and it is currently tucked into an art book I'm reading and it is PERFECT!
