First so glad to see you in your studio and blogging! YAY! Lot of energy in this piece, knew it would burst out! Love the way you use the words in colage! I will pass on a newsletter from Pauline Agnew. She has a new free lesson on using oil pastels.

Hi Carol, thanks for welcoming me back to this space! Original energy from nearly 5 years ago during my mom's last days. New energy, different energy now. Oo—looking forward to the newsletter! Thx!

Hooray! Welcome back!!!!!! And yup, lots of energy in this one...love that it is an "upgrade" of an older piece.

Thanks, Jen! I took delight in noticing what I brought to playing further with this piece—creative behaviors that were not in my tool kit in October 2015. Having the 2015 piece as a ready-to-play-with-start helped me get moving, and gave me ongoing practice in letting go, cutting up, rearranging, seeing from new perspectives, not to mention chances to reflect on my inner life of five years ago and my inner life now.

Thanks, Simone. Lovely for me to rediscover those colors and recall the scene that inspired them. Lovely for me to play with them in a new way.
