Dotty is playing kaleidoscope with us... now the reds and oranges sings! Especially that small detail.. spring is definitely in the air!

Oh, I like your kaleidoscope perception, Carol! The doodles give me a sense of movement in the unfolding of this painting, and I'm grateful to feel that movement even as I continue to feel like I'm in a messy middle that is not yet pleasing to my eye.
