Painted quickly, intuitively, impulsively, experimentally—Sylvia, I was trying to imagine and then channel how you feel as you paint!

What did it feel like to paint this way? Terrific! Satisfying! Fun! Expressive!
Another speedy delivery.

Oh how would love to hang out with you guys! I get starts and freeze! Love the freedom expressed here. Wonderful day wonderful work!
Well, Carol, you'll just have to come join us on one of your Stateside visits! Hanging out with Joan, with lots of time (~4-5 hours) but a clear end time as well, and no chance of seeing each other again for weeks at best, seems to work a kind of delightful magic. Glad you see freedom expressed in this piece. Love your wonderful-day-wonderful-work précis : )

Wonderful to see this speedy delivery! It radiates all fun and joy and wild expression. Love that!
WHOA! Celestial BLISS! What fun! Each of these stages of the painting are a finished painting in themselves. The exuberance shines through. :)
Simone, thanks for this feedback—I seek to do more painting of this sort, radiating all fun and joy and wild expression.
Love that you saw the painting in each stage, Jen. As I posted each iteration, I was thinking to myself, oh! why didn't I stop there? or there? Grateful that you, too, see exuberance shining through. Hoping for more, more, more!
What a lovely start!! The first one makes me think of Monet, a close up perhaps. A sunny day, dappled light on a landscape. Flowers, grass, sky. And then you take off, this direction and that! So much fun! Thanks for sharing Dotty!
Monet! Thanks, Sheila! Love your reflections re sunshine, dappled light, landscape, flowers, grass, sky : )
