I cut into quadrants all four 8x10" starts painted over the past so many days, and I now have 16 postcard-sized laboratories at my disposal—little paper canvases on which to explore the painting of negative space.
Took the plunge today and started the inquiry.
The cover-up has begun. One postcard is already going incognito.

Oh I like it already! Tasty gum drops making my eyes big :)
Gum drops! Haven't thought about gum drops in AGES.
haha..love Sheila's comment. I don't see gum drops, but I see a little car with a little person driving it, the letter C, a moon, and a faceless girl with long black hair. :D
so much is revealed when given space to rise to the surface. love the little car tooling along under the moon—the moon that can hardly wait to tool along between the sun and earth on monday!
yes yes yes! Already wonderful...rosebuds and ethereal faces...
Thanks for your cheerleading, Jen. More to come with this WIP.
Yes candy floating in space! Who will stay and who will disappear?
stay tuned : )
