Soooo nice to see now the next step! I think it is so worthwhile to let yourself guide you through all kinds of exercises and experiments that you would never have thought of yourself!
I feel it is so inspiring to see somebody (you..) just working/playing (I like that one better!) every single day on this mysterious path called art!
Hi Simone, your encouragement is especially welcome because I feel kind of tired and lost at the moment! I think I may be overly busy to the point where I am not able to access my intuition easily. I need a long winter's nap!
Laurie, thank you! Part of its appeal as I have moved along is how engaging the process itself is. I'm always grateful when my attention is pulled away from a too-narrow focus on product. Collaging is soothing—little ongoing decisions that can start out freeingly random, and the physical acts of tearing, cutting, and pasting.
It's been fun peeking into your process. Watching all the steps. I think I will sneak a single frame-shooting camera in and set it up over your work table and then see the collage create itself
Great idea! I have really been feeling at sixes and sevens with some stuff I'm working on now (my painting is currently ahead of my posting)—I'm thinking I'd learn something one way or the other if I was a fly on the wall watching myself in process, and maybe someone else would learn something, too!

Hooray for daily painting!

I like the way your mind works Dotty. And I love that you share your winding path with us all. Inspirational!
Sheila, thanks for your embrace of my winding path and my sharing. I appreciate your support and affirmation and your being a fellow journeyartist.
I LOVE this composition, Dotty! Very nice piece.
