all paths lead where truth is here [e.e. cummings]

in winter after-

noon light I am a pilgrim

hark! revelation!

work in progress;
lost myself in the pure joy
of mixing
 paint and applying it with palette knife
over roughly and irregularly textured surface

Looking in reflecting waters, bright blue sky above. :) Nature's JOY :)

Lovely to see your painting again. I can't help but see a Christmas tree in it... I hope that's okay ;-)!

I can see the reflecting waters also, Sheila, now that draw my attention to them! Looking through your eyes, I love the pop of surprise I have at re-seeing what I've painted!

Nature's joy!

Simone! Happy to see you here! Grateful for your affirmation of my painting again lately.

Smiling at your seeing a Christmas tree —— that's precisely where I went as I painted … right between and among the branches of an evergreen : )

So much said with so few words. A lesson for our art as well! Love your bursting tree!
