Yup. That song rings true every time.
In my studio today took my brush to Takodah, stepped out of my cabin beside A-Field, stood at the edge of an overhang of trees, looked straight up.

Thanks, Joany. One of the gifts of painting for me is its ability to pull me into whatever scene I'm painting; in this case, Takodah. Not QUITE as good as being there, but gosh darned close! I can feel that big ol' sky over my head, and A Field under my feet.
