In late August, summer runs wild in those gardens with a riot of color and texture and fragrance and tangle and boast and profusion.
Recently, a troupe of orange cosmos has been dancing exquisitely in a side garden, glowing when late afternoon sun passes through translucent petals. Leaves and stems leap every which way as the supporting cast.
Had to paint the stage production.

Beautiful...!
I absolutely LOVE this one!!! Yay Dave and Dotty!
Thank you. Tell Caroline that in the wings just off to the left are raspberries waiting their turn to take center stage : )
Thank you! The tangle and profusion of undergrowth supporting the stars of the show are what I'm especially pleased to have captured.
I'm not kidding, the undergrowth looked so realistic I had to really scrutinize it to make sure I wasn't looking at a photograph. Super job!!!
Music to my ears!
Beautiful!
