I knew I'd only have about 25-30 minutes to paint yesterday. When I woke in the morning before birds were even chirping I decided in my half sleep that I would paint without an external reference. I'd paint an inner landscape, so to speak. I wanted to be loose as I painted and do no more than put some color on paper, maybe mostly greens with a narrow band of blue at the top. How hard could that be?
Yeah, well.
But, I blazed a trail and just
did it. And I like the landscape.
