I Wonder / Q&Q Cut-Up #5

Where does art come from?

I hold the question in wonder.

But I don't need an answer.

Wasn't here two days ago.

Is here today.

Happens over and over again.

Magnificent! The contrast between the flowing background and the lettering pops this piece! Especially that we can't quite read anything! Magnificent!

Carol, your comments delight. I loved creating the contrast between the soft flow of color in the background and the squared off b&w graphic tiles, and I wanted the presence of letterform to be strong without offering up anything to read. Success! And it was all so unexpected. This piece announced itself—I didn't set out to make any such thing : )
