Liar, Liar!

Confession: after I posted yesterday, I did pick up a brush and play for a short while after all.

Started fiddling around with one of my quick & quixotic cut-ups.

I see potential in two orientations.

Not only that, but also … you will recall all the horizontal surfaces that were cleared off yesterday. Today they're covered with everything entailed in my mounting photos on matte board for a display at J&C's wedding celebration on Saturday. Paper trimmer, matte board, backing paper, scissors, ruler, pens, pencil, matte medium, brushes, photos, scraps, boxes: you name it, it's taken up residence.

You got time so you painted!Good for you! Have you tried flipping horizontal?

I didn't really 'get' time to paint—I 'took' time! I steal it day after day!

I did look at horizontal orientation but it didn't call to me. But never say never! Who knows where this will go? Not I!

The title of this post made me laugh! It is wonderful that you were able to paint after all. Horizontal spaces are the bane of my existence...my husband fills them with stuff, the new dog licks them in hopes there are crumbs. Might as well put art supplies on them!

Yes!
I guess this painting thing is unavoidable ;-)
Hope you can carry all your stuff with you.

I actually really like those two starts, with their interesting surface!

Glad I got a laugh out of you with the title!

Even when I think I don't have time to paint, or try to make something else a priority, I seem to sneak into my studio space to play for at least a few minutes.

Horizontal spaces—lethal.

Evidently painting is unavoidable for me!!! Project HAS to be completed before we head to Boston tomorrow, both so I can provide a photo display at J&C's wedding event and so our houseguests will have a place to sleep : )
