Today I think, what the heck, I'll
knowingly throw some acrylic glazing medium on this other 4x5" piece and let it have its way.
And have its way it does.

"She did it her way...." Hmm.... sounds like Frank Sinatra. I love it when you steer that ship, Dotty! Colors and energy. That's you!
Oh my gosh, don't get me singing that song! Thanks for your trust in my steering the ship.
Love where you ended up with this painting. Agree with Laurie....colours and energy!
What an appropriate title for this piece. I can feel the energy and movement. Hard to think of this as such a small piece. That magenta sings!
Love that you showed us the ouch. This looks like a party... or maybe the party will happen when the seed are found by Chip and Dale. LOL Love your day 20 Dotty!
Thanks, Janet. My grand gift in this current challenge has been a heart more open to exploration and inquiry, discovering—along with everyone else—where I end up with various paintings. Happy for the colors and energy in this one.
Thanks, Carol. I appreciate your notice of the title. I finished painting, looked at it, and thought of spring flowers … which are hiding inside seeds at the moment. SO magical, like the art that 'hides' inside us and then blossoms when we give it light and water and warmth. Glad you can feel the energy and movement.
Isn't the ouch just ugly?!
Hey, Chip 'n' Dale better not eat those seeds!
Thanks for your comments and appreciation of day 20, Sheila.
I see bees! Love it!
Awesome! You've got me laughing—I totally missed those guys!
I see the bees, too. Appropriate, don't-cha think?!
I'm laughing out loud, Worker Bee!
