This is another winner! The subtle collage, top left, nice ba;enve to the busy exposed collage on the right. Just enough of the green poking through. Is that a fruit basket hiding out there? Love how the sqare collage pieces peek through the mottled background. Jane certainly won't put you in the corner for this piece!!!
Thank you, Carol. Laughing at your closing comment!—it's because of Jane's class that I am doing my current explorations and investigations, and it's been fun to see what comes out of those experiments and risks. I added collage—words printed on translucent mylar (or some kind of plasticky paper) that ended up buckling in the upper left hand corner as you can see. Annoying when I first saw that result as it dried, but then a gift when it added texture to the final piece. Ya just never know! Speaking of which, I'm deep into Not Knowing again at present.
Sheila, really fun to hear you say you see a small boat. So do I! I resisted mentioning it, though, wanting to let views see the image through their own eyes first. I find myself thinking Viking ship.

Love it Dotty! I see a small boat, the sails, and a hint of a figure. Perhaps he is pulling up a net or cage from the water.
