Grabbed new gessobord, two brushes, and a matte knife to play with the scene from Little Neck Road again. Might have stayed out in the sun too long.
Fun, though, to make discoveries while pushing and pulling paint around with a knife.

The clouds look so real!
They are real … paint! Paint scraped across treated masonite with a painting knife. Go figure!
Interesting!!! I would swear they were done with brush strokes.
I did use brushes in this painting but not at all for the sky!
