This is an interesting piece. I see it as a much bigger piece! Keep playing back and forth across the "river." I rest in the calm of the light turquoise!

Pretty funny that it's only 4x5", yes?

At 3:48 Am yes!

Hi Dotty,
Don't know what a 'tangent' is (google helped me though - still a difficult word). This paintig has a geographical connotation: flower beds along the river.

Simone, your geographical viewpoint, i.e. flower beds along the river, gives me a new (and welcome) way to see this piece. Thank you!

This piece is full of humor and good cheer! The awkwardness is endearing. I want pajamas printed with this. I would always be smiling!

Flannel? Love the idea of pj's! And let's hear it for endearing awkwardness : )

Hope your packing is going well. Thinking of you often!

Still in my looking down ode. This takes me back to a favorite pastime as a kid, drawing neighborhood maps. I see buildings, interconnected by walkways, maybe even moving walkways. What was it Disney called them? I see green grass for people to gather on, play on, walk on, read on. There are colorful flowers, and a cool, crisp river. Maybe those are little pedal boats rented on a Sunday afternoon ;)

Sheila, thank you for the neighborhood map perspective—the buildings, green grass, sidewalks, and pedal boats for Sunday rental all charm : )

Moving sidewalks—I think Jetsons immediately!
