On The Loose

A year ago I put paintbrush to canvas for the first time.  Since then I've painted for at least a few minutes most days.  Knock me over with a feather!

On the first anniversary of this creative adventure, I've decided to enter new territory again, this time to create a blog and do a painting a day.

In my studio today—not for the first time—I set the intention to paint loosely.  Painting loosely does not come easily or naturally to me.  At all.  But, look!  Not so tight!
