  1. Mooi! Beautiful!
I like the small checkered parts, that gives a really nice 'graphic' element in the painting!

    1. Thanks, Simone. I appreciate your comment re the checkered parts. They would never be there if I hadn't 'made messy' first with no plan or outcome in mind. Then, once they showed up, I loved them!

  2. What a great companion for the first one. You each are sort of different gardeners. I love the petal that fell, nice accent!

    1. Thanks for your comments, Carol. Indeed, Dave and I are both gardeners, he outdoors in our yard, I indoors at the end of my paintbrush. Fun that you noticed the touch of the petal that dropped.

Thanks for your faithful visits and ongoing conversation here at my blog.

  3. So very glad to see the white trimmed flowers again. LOVE how happy they make me feel. Love all the pattern play in the blooms. So fun. and the texture in the vase gives it the look of having been around forever. Love the gentle spots in the back, and the petal on the table. And oh that wonderful table!! So much going on there, and I love it all Dotty!

    1. Love your feedback, Sheila! Always grateful hear what catches your eye and in what way. The pattern play in the blooms was fun—painting up sheets of paper for collage use is so satisfying. Likewise, I had a good time 'distressing' the vase, and creating textural layers throughout. The petals on the table were a last-minute flash of composition.
