Skies or water, doesn't really matter. Amazing how much depth layering creates! I see a creature trying to come out!

Inspiration was the abstracted predawn sky I saw yesterday coming out of the Y after my early morning Strongboard class! I had fun playing with the feeling. Thanks for the nod to layering and depth—an ongoing learning.

Again, Sheila, great descriptor: monochromatic mayhem. Thank you! I had a grand time in process with this one, mixing color both on and off the 'canvas' (masonite panel previously painted by someone else).
