Who knew?

Remember that day last week when I felt like I had a mesh cage in my chest?

Look at what I discovered with a slight shift in perception.

Isn't it wonderful how things keep popping up in abstract painting? Who had known these pears had been hiding in it?

a little sweetness! There is really no lovelier feeling than the resolution of an abstract...

I don't even love it, but I like it much more than before.

I'm laughing at myself for revising a piece of what is meant to be an underlayer eventually AND I'm cheering myself for using this playboard for experimentation in whatever way it shows up.

Thanks for your feedback, Jen.

When you shift one they all shift! Love these little pear like shapes! So colorful!

It was a happy surprise to find those pears just waiting for me to recognize them!

Thanks, Carol. This was such a fun reminder about perspective in general. So much is 'hiding' in plain sight just waiting for my viewpoint to shift—and I don't just mean literally/visually.

Fun, happy little pears. And still so many lovely empties to tempt you ;)

Those little pears were happy to be found (and secretly happy to have hidden themselves so well originally).

I was thinking I didn't have many empties left but, now that I look with that in mind, I see there are indeed quite a few left : )
