Off and on, I think about starting a sketchbook of my own.
But I never bring action to intention.
Today, I looked at Core Values, my huge sheet of foam core with its grid format, and saw it for what it is.

I do like the feeling of having this big open sketchbook on which to experiment—even though I might get attached to some of the 'pages,' I have less of a sense of preciousness than is often the case when working with a discrete substrate. Thanks, Carol.
Loving the variations in the grid sizes! Love the variety of greens and touches of blues and 'reds' in this offering. Seeing your 'sketchbook' on the board gives a whole new perspective to how we can view our sketchbook work - brilliant Dotty!
It would have been so easy to fall mindlessly into all same-size patches in the grid; so glad I've thought to play with some variety, and glad you're loving that also!
Similarly, like you, the touches of not-green in this offering catch my attention happily.
