Simone, thank you for your ongoing encouraging of my art and poetry! I love composing a haiku for the written part of my posts when I'm on vacation. My art comes from within on those days, a nonverbal processing of being alive in the moment; my poetry is a verbal representation of a snippet of the same day.

The magic of vacation! The 'cherry blossoms' may be an unconscious abstraction of low flora we see on the trails, showcasing delicate pink-red-in-October leaves that look like flowers from a slight distance.

Thanks, Jen!

So glad to be with you through your art and poetry! Something so soothing about forest walks and trails. Love the red blots! Wonder about the new transitions!

Thanks, Carol. Terrific week of outdoors, exercise, fireside reading, simple living, painting. The forest/mountain walks: exquisite.
